Character Name: Chuuya Nakahara
Canon/Canon Point: Bungo Stray Dogs
Character Age: 22
History: Wiki
Powers:
Upon The Tainted Sorrow
An ability that allows Chuuya to manipulate the gravity of himself and anything he touches. He can utilize it in a number of different ways, and at various points he's seen floating, walking on walls, making things heavier, pinning down his enemies, 'firing' bullets without a gun, blocking bullets and other weapons from hitting him, and breaking things by making them too heavy to hold up under their own weight.
However, it's worth noting that there are a lot of things not affected by gravity, or exist as independent particles instead of a single solid object, and those give him a lot of trouble. In particular, he struggles when dealing with electricity, poison, gas, and liquids.
Corruption
Corruption is effectively just Upon the Tainted Sorrow turned up to 11. It allows Chuuya to tap into the full depths of his ability, and when he does he's capable of causing incredible amounts of damage and taking down enemies even small armies aren't able to deal with. It also slightly expands the range of his skills, giving him the ability to form and throw miniature black holes (which, fortunately, destabilize and dissipate once they get too far away from him).
Corruption, however, comes with several distinct downsides.
The first is that Corruption will kill Chuuya when he uses it for too long. A concrete time limit has never been given, but he's never shown using it for more than a few short minutes at a time.
The second is that even when it doesn't kill him, Corruption puts an incredible amount of stress on his body. Just a few minutes in Corruption will have him bleeding from his ears and nose and coughing up blood. Every time it shows up in canon Chuuya passes out as soon as it's done and needs someone else to help him retreat to safety. Obviously, these injuries tend to keep him off the field for some time afterwards.
And the final drawback is that Chuuya has no control over himself while Corruption is active. His behavior seems to imply that he can set a goal for himself beforehand (usually 'kill this enemy') and mindlessly pursue that goal once he activates it. Once it's done, however, he rampages blindly until the strain finally overwhelms and kills him.
Most critically, this means that Chuuya cannot stop Corruption on its own once it's activated. The only way to stop it is to temporarily nullify his ability entirely, and the only person capable of doing that is Osamu Dazai. But Chuuya avoids Dazai when he can, and even on good days their relationship is contentious. Needless to day, Chuuya only ever uses Corruption in the absolute most dire of circumstances.

What does your character want most in the world?
The thing is, Chuuya is already pretty happy with his life as it is. It's far from perfect, of course. He has lost friends in his line of work, and will surely lose more in the future. The Port Mafia is constantly dealing with issues caused by law enforcement and the Armed Detective Agency. Yokohama seems to face near-constant threats from outside forces. Dazai still alive and well somewhere out there.
But in spite of all of that he's surrounded by his chosen family, doing work that he enjoys protecting a city that he likes. He's being paid very handsomely for that work, too, allowing him to support his various expensive hobbies.
Thus, the thing that he wants the most is pretty simple: to stay right where he is right now. No need to fix what isn't broken.
How would your character react to a deep betrayal from the person they care about the most?
Apparently, by opening an outrageously expensive bottle of wine to celebrate.
Granted, the 'person he cares the most about' in this case was Osamu Dazai, but it's important to note that this isn't exactly (or at least, not entirely) a positive sort of 'caring the most about. Chuuya and Dazai have an extremely acerbic relationship. Both of them have, at various points, inflicted varying amounts of violence on one another, made at least one sincere effort to kill one another, dragged their feet on rescuing the other from being tortured, celebrated each other's misfortunes, gone out of their way to harass one another, and generally just treated each other like absolute shit.
Regardless, Dazai's betrayal of the mafia is something that Chuuya seems to have taken extremely personally, as four years later he still holds a grudge and refers to Dazai as a traitor over it. Chuuya never goes into details about his feelings on the matter, aside from the above mentioned celebratory bottle of wine, but the death of and betrayals from other people he cares about have prompted genuine unhappiness from him in the past.
But Chuuya's not someone that can just let go of a relationship with any amount of good in it. Despite everything else, Chuuya still places an incredible amount of trust in Dazai. As mentioned above, the use of Corruption will kill Chuuya if it goes on too long. Every time Chuuya uses Corruption he makes the conscious decision to put his life in Dazai's hands - and Dazai, in turn, has never once betrayed that trust. Chuuya would like to be someone that could just forget and move on from someone that's hurt him... but he isn't.
What is your character most afraid of?
Again, this one is pretty simple: the thing that Chuuya fears the most is the death of the people he cares about. Many of Chuuya's friends, loved ones, and subordinates have died, several of which died directly because of their relationship with him. He takes it just has hard every time it happens, and holds grudges against those he deems responsible for those deaths for years to come.
It's also worth nothing that Chuuya is a resilient and stubborn, slow to change and even slower to back down from a fight. Yet he's gone from someone who has multiple groups of friends, to only ever closely associating with a handful of people all of them powerful and experienced ability users capable of protecting themselves.
